Bloodborne: Notice of Server Maintenance

Sony Computer Entertainment released a statement today, mentioning that Bloodborne’s servers have been brought down for an “emergency maintenance,” and apparently it’s a serious problem, at least if the duration of the downtime is any indication.

I had to beat the original game without any co-op. I guess I'll just have to tough out the DLC too...

Good luck. Playing through Old Hunter DLC on NG+, and alone, is monumentally more difficult than the main game. Its laughably harder.

I think this has to do with the team fixing a couple of free DLC glitches. Maybe they remove bell ringing within Hunters Dream as a result.

THe DLC is much harder in my opinion. I didn't use any co op help in the base game the same as you but I did however use it for the DLC. It can be brutal lol. I am on NG+ though so that makes it harder anyways. The DLC is a must buy for anyone who loves the base game.

I would have had to rank up a lot more to even attempt solo action. It can be done, but we are talking a minimum of 20-30 attempts per boss before you even have a chance.

Its that hard.

My wife is stubborn as hell and has played the game offline the whole time. She's on NG+ going through the DLC right now, Ludwig gave her a ton of shit, she spent 3 days trying dying and grinding until she finally beat him. 20-30 times sounds about right.

She's been cruising through it after that though, she's on Maria now, she just got to her last night. She tried her 4-5 times until she called it a night, she was ready to put the controller down anyways. She's gonna get a fresh jump on her today and see how it plays out. Last night she got her a lot further down than she did Ludgwig when she first started fighting him, so I can see her getting past her today.

She's sittin' at level 171 right now though, she was at the perfect endgame spot in NG+ when the DLC dropped so she grinded some levels for a little while to get back into the swing of it before she entered the hunter's nightmare. She's a badass, I love watching her play, I wish she would stream...

I'm a 175 Player and right there with her. She sounds like a good player.

The Maria fight wasn't nearly as difficult as the final one. Even the next two after Maria were very very hard. Of she is offline and solo only, then it may be a few days.

Nice! I've got a lot of catching up to do, I'm only at level 115. lol. After I got to NG+ other games started coming out and took my attention away from it. Now I'm only at the Forbidden Forest in NG+ so I've still got some grinding to do until I get serious into the DLC, so far I've poked around in there and killed some people but haven't ventured too deep because I know I'll get slaughtered.

She beat Maria first try that day and has been slowly exploring in the Fisherman's Village, those giant ogre fish things are crazy! She just got Simons Bowblade yesterday. Yeah, she's really good, it's awesome because I wasn't sure if she was going to like it because she never got into the Souls games. She likes this one because it's fast and fluid, it's her favorite game on PS4 so far. She loves the challenge, sometimes it pisses her off like crazy and she wants to throw the controller but there's nothing like that feeling you get when you overcome something that feels impossible. I think that's the main thing that sets this game apart, is that true feeling of accomplishment and exhilaration you get when you finally beat a boss that was kicking your ass over and over again. Not many games can give you that.

As long as I can play I can deal with it. This game is so good. I love a game that's challenging like this. The combat system is probably the best I've ever seen.
