Modders Remaking The Original Fallout In Fallout New Vegas

Clipping Error report on the news that Fallout, the original game, is being remade in Fallout New Vegas. The Modders behind the project are recreating the game as best they can in the updated engine, even going as far as making a table-top map for players to use in the same style as the map from the original game, which looks awesome!

Obisidian are busy working on their own games. Beth should just get a smaller company to do that.
No need to get a decently sized company to make a remake of a game this old. Just get a smaller one with a good engine to do it and put it on last gen, current gen, PC and tablets. It would sell well and bring more people up to speed with Fallout.

Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 source code isn't actually lost, reveals former Interplay founder

Video Gamer: "Earlier this week, we released a story that the source code and in-development assets for both Fallout and Fallout 2 were lost. According to series creator Tim Cain, and as far as he knew, the source codes for both of the original games were destroyed. However, that’s not the case."
