I loved Dragon's Lair when I was a kid (along with it's counterpart Space Ace). It was an awesome experience to walk into an arcade and beat the game with one quarter while a crowd of onlookers gathered around.

Despite my nostalgic reminiscing, I'm not really surprised that the Kickstarter campaign failed to meet it's goal. Dragon's Lair is over 30 years old...practically a relic when it comes to video games. I'm not sure that there is an audience for a 2D animated film based on a game from the 80s. I appreciate the talented individuals who created these classics. But perhaps it's time for Bluth and company to let it go.

Have you ever played Brain Dead 13? It was another game like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.

No, I had never heard of it until now. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll do a search online for any relevant info.

Firewatch could be cool, they could get the voice actor to play the role easily enough, Rich Sommer is it? Doesn't sound like it's happening though. Shame the devs next game disappeared when they got bought and dissolved, it looked good.
