Bethesda's vice president Pete Hines has displeased a bunch of Fallout 4 fans, by stating that he's not interested in discussing how realistic things are in a game such as Fallout 4. Hines is accused of not caring for the franchise enough.
For new players trying out Fallout 4, there are a few actions that gamers should avoid making as they journey with the Sole Survivor.
I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
Fallout hardcore fans need to calm down a little. Its not the end of the world if its not part of the lore.
And Pete Hines needs to stop looking like a complete Douche. Because his replies are pissing me off.
It always made me wonder how Pete Hines got this job, considering his arrogance is usually at an all time high.
Woa those Fallout fans surely take this too seriously. Hines needs to formulate his answers better but stil....
I found nothing wrong with his responses, think people are just being over dramatic .
"My character is someone that never needs to eat, sleep, piss and poop in a fantasy world and I care about realism".
Wow seriously, guys. I feel ashamed to be a gamer if this is so easy to be infuriated and showing no respect to someone that worked on the game I like.
Was there the same uproar with Skyrim when we had talking dragons, chicken defense force or heroes Fus Roh Dahing things? I just can't imagine how it would translate in the cinema industry: "Hey Michael Bay, Megan Fox porking Shia Laboeuf in Transformers is soooo unrealistic". "You mean, that movie with giant alien talking robots that can take the shapes of human vehicles?".
