"The bulk of Totem Topple was built in a 24 hour Game, which is very impressive. It brings an interesting angle to the tower defense formula, making you stack a large totem pole to defend demon spirits attacking from the left and right. Though it seems like in interesting concept, will it be enough to hold the game on concept alone?"
Nintendo Insider writes:
Off-TV Play, Miiverse integration and online leaderboards are all appreciated additions, but it is in Totem Topple's inability to retain your interest that sees it ultimately suffer. A sound concept with lamentable breadth, we witness a foundation on which something great can potentially be built. It just hasn't reached the dizzying heights that it aims for, just yet.
For me, it's 2/10. The first time I played this game, I wasn't impressed. It's quite boring.
Wow, that's rough.
Everybody's heard about the bird. Ba ba ba bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word...
There's very little to keep someone playing Totem Topple. There's no strategy, no depth, and no appeal.
"Publisher Crystalline Green is bringing King Game Jam participant Totem Topple to the Wii U eShop on November 19th, it has been revealed."
