Kill Shot Bravo is a new sniper game by Hothead Games, the sequel to their original hit Kill Shot. You can play sniper missions, breach missions where you kick in doors and clear buildings, black ops missions and old-school assault missions, while earning gold, bucks and medals and getting all sorts of weapons and gear.
Carl Williams writes, "Forget a story. Forget getting caught up in twists and turns with fictional characters. Kill Shot Bravo simply does one thing and does it well. You are put in the shoes of a soldier of many trades and must prove your worth against not only other digital soldiers but real-life players looking to rank up by ending your streak. That is the essence of this game by Hothead Games. Take on missions, kill the enemy, build a streak, and repeat. The amazing thing is, it doesn’t get old like you may think it would."
Carl Williams writes, "We don’t cover a lot of war related games here on Gravis Ludus. Mainly because there are simply so many of them that it is often hard to keep track of what is what. One that stood out to me was Kill Shot Bravo by Hothead Games. While I try a lot of these style of games out, there are not many that hold my interest through the tutorial let alone into the main game. Kill Shot Bravo has accomplished that and has warranted a review. Now we see if it holds up as well as first impressions indicated it would or if it is just another dud."
GG:
Being a games journalist allows you to get your hands on some of the most intriguing new experimental titles out there today. The indie dev market is sprawling with creative games, and every new review you do can be an adventure into the unknown. So you can imagine my disappointment when I was told to review a first-person shooter game for Android, Kill Shot Bravo. That's not an indictment of the game's quality, but first person shooter games have flooded the market. They feel passé now, coming out in droves, like clockwork. I'm soured on them since the genre doesn't feel all that special any more, and I'm not a fan of 12 year-olds telling me to “get on their level”. Yet, Kill Shot Bravo from the Hothead team could very well be different as it's a mobile release, so let's venture in, soldier.
