Fallout 4 Review - most likely game of the year - Gamingwithdad

Years of waiting are finally over as Bethesda has released its newest entry in the Fallout series, Fallout 4. With the addition of new features such as settlement building and the new crit system, there are plenty of new things to keep it fresh while retaining what made Fallout great. On the surface, game play may resemble previous entries in the series but it is the small changes that really make Fallout 4 shine.

I agree. Though, for me TW3 and BB are quite close.

Mr Lahey3479d ago

Nothing is close to Bloodborne imo. I will hype that game till I die because it's the best game I've played in my 25+ years as a gamer!

Fallout 4 is a great game though!

Mr. Lahey, can you smell the shitnami coming, with all those shithawks?

Mr Lahey3478d ago (Edited 3478d ago )

@retarded

The winds of shit man, hits the fan and all the little shit-apples getting pink-eye..

Do you feel that Mr, Lahey, the way the shit clings to the air. Shit Blizzard.

He who looks into the abyss realizes there's nothing looking back at him and the only thing he sees is his own shadow, the_mack_attack3. You understand, bud? The abyss? The shitabyss!

For me Witcher 3 and Bloodborne are the best games of this year. Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid 5 coming in second best wave. Batman: Arkham Knight was this years biggest disappointment.

Cra2yey33479d ago

Witcher 3. Still playing thru that game.

Gamingwithdad3479d ago

Its tough for me the top 3 games this year would be Fallout 4 Bloodborn and Witcher 3. I don't know which I would place in what order though.

Yui_Suzumiya3478d ago (Edited 3478d ago )

Fallout 4 is number 1 for me.. I haven't played any of the other big games people keep listing. Will be getting Witcher III soon though.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast50d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos50d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

TheColbertinator50d ago

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar152d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

anast151d ago

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082151d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
