The Game Bakers' Furi is an intriguing hack and slash title with Afro Samurai influences and a neo-noir art style. It's coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring, which only makes the lack of an Xbox One release even more conspicuous.
Out of hundreds of hype-inducing music, Furi absolutely destroys the competition with one of the best soundtracks in gaming.
I honestly love Doom's soundtrack as well, but Furi has a way of captivating me wayyyyy more with its music.
The boss fights, the art design and the soundtrack in Furi are amazing. It's one of my favourite games from last gen (has a PS5 version too). "Underrated" is thrown around a lot but this game is definitely underrated.
It’s the reason I bought the game. The game itself is good too. But the soundtrack is superb.
So is Hotline Miami’s.
Furi’s tale of The Stranger fighting his way out of a celestial prison is not simply one of escape, but one of an outsider with only the language of violence, learning humanity.
French Indie studio The Game Bakers launches the new Onnamusha DLC for Furi today. The intense boss rush game was downloaded by more than 3.5 million players since its launch.
After coming to and end with Returnal I'm looking to get back into this.
In Japan they want 100 Yen to upgrade (?) from PS4 to PS5 version. Has anyone here played the PS5 version?
"The game is so fast paced and requires such reflexes that it’s not playable at 30fps" Hence, no XB1 version.
That's a little harsh if you ask me.
They should do what other developers are doing and simply lower the resolution a little to maintain the frame rate. The problem is the time that will require for a small studio to hit the right resolution/frame rate ration on another platform.
After watching the promo trailer for this game I can say... All games are not created equal. Keep this garbage. Coming from a PC gamer.
Sounds like they don't have the money to fund all three just yet.
indie "the ones who suck" developers are still beating their chest, trying to maintain that moment of fame from 18mos ago?
one thing i've learned from the 360/ps3 generation is, be prepared to sift through 1000lbs of crap before finding that gem.
if the game is good, then good on them...
This is a terrible comment section
