Fresno Bee video game columnist Rory Appleton writes: "I emerged from the sterile, familiar vaults to find a bleak but beautiful world. The title’s true genius is the imagining of what Massachusetts would look like 300 years after nuclear war. This plot design allowed developers to mix WWII-era weapons, buildings, music and characters with futuristic elements. The resulting cocktail of nostalgia and science fiction creates a distinct feel perhaps only mirrored by “BioShock: Infinite” – one of the finest games ever made."
For new players trying out Fallout 4, there are a few actions that gamers should avoid making as they journey with the Sole Survivor.
I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
Masterpiece my a**, really tired of fanboys ignoring the issues with the game acting like they don't matter.
Nope, Bloodborne and The Witcher take that title.
Sorry no name site, but bloodborne was.
Yup not only GOTY but the true first masterpiece of this gen, I can't put it down, runs perfect too, at 2k 60-79fps
the friggin world is so HUGE xD, after work I come home and only have like 2 hours to play, but mannnn! in those 2 hours I barely get anywhere cause im too busy exploring, the world is huge! and some matches with raiders zap your time FAST, im playing on survival, so its a tad bit more time consuming, but im loving it, shout outs to Bethesda, ignore the haters, cause this is a beast of a game. But of course its Bethesda, my favorite developers now.
