Haha great I'm going to try this. You can never have enough bottle caps. I did play the other Fallouts but had no idea about this glitch :D

ERFO3469d ago

But...... isn't earning the caps part of the journey? Isn't using the glitch just taking away from your experience? I guess people can do whatever the hell they want, but I'll never use the glitch. There's something to he said about seeing something you can't afford and working for it. In-game as well as IRL

@ERFO
I agree with what you are saying but i used this glitch in fallout 3 with the shop based traders. I still put in over 270 hours into fallout 3 and it really did not help much. Most of the good weapons and armor was found not bought. Let me guess , you never used the bobby pin glitch ,you never used the computer hacking glitch , you never used the 2 follower glitch, and you never set the difficulty to very easy to get through a hard part?

I don't think Fallout 3 or NV were ever hard enough to justify using ANY exploits OR lowering the difficulty of the game. Imo, its a very accessible game. The parts where you get your butt handed to you are generally areas that are not meant for your traversal yet. It's one of the things I like about Fallout, you get your butt kicked, you grind, then go back and clean house (no exploits needed).

I'm about 15 hrs into Fallout 4 and so far I don't see anything where I would even need to use an exploit or lower the difficulty. But to each their own, if it makes the game more enjoyable for you then go for it.

@Testfire

In fallout 3 I explored the hole map and found everything before i started playing the main game missions so maybe thats why it seemed more difficult. Exploration was alot of fun but when I started playing the main missions it was real quick, easy ,and somewhat boring.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast33d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos33d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
