You can go outside the visible map area in Fallout 4 and not in a buggy or glitchy type way. What is there to find? Epic Easter Eggs? Awesome gear? Well, it’s not that exciting but it’s a cool area nonetheless.
Turns out it wasn't quite as exciting as I'd hoped. Think I jumped the gun a bit. There's quite a few other areas laying outside the map area so this may not be significant at all. Although a DLC entrance is definitely a good possibility.
Man this game is broken as f*, played for 3 hours and i have experienced more bugs than every game i have played in the last 5 years and that's include skyrim.
That sucks man. What are you playing it on? I have 15 hours in the game(PS4) and have only experienced a few glitched camera angles during conversations. I can tell it's not as polished as it should be though, at least in comparison to other RPGs such as Witcher 3.
I'm on PS4 too and the only really annoying glitch I've had was when my first settlement got attacked and the Minuteman borrowed my power suit and forgot to give it back...
Sorry to disagree but I've played over 30 hours on PS4 since Monday night and I've had no bugs or glitches. Kinda disappointed because I wanted to see one of the funny ones :3
Im pretty annoyed on how small the map is. Saw the story about running the map in 11 minutes and I didn't believe it, tried it myself and its true. Even though the map appears big on Pipboy you can only access 70%. Minus the water, that has Nothing at the bottom. So that cuts the map by another 10%. We've been had,
I know there's another circuit breaker east of Sanctuary, by the water on part of a giant pump. Maybe you're supposed to deactivate them all for something to happen.
***Gear Location Spoiler*** (Is that a thing?)
Also for you folks who lost your power armor, there's another suit over that way as well. In general that area northeast of sanctuary (between sanctuary and the next town) has some interesting stuff.
I kinda wish more games would do the thing Far Cry 2 and Mad Max (2015) did for map boundaries, making it fairly infinite, but harsh and dangerous to a point where you will have to turn back or die. Works really well for a desert or post apocalyptic setting, obviously.
Wonder if this was intentional in some strange way.
That's pretty wild.
Odd. All i found were invisible walls.

That's pretty much uncharted!!!
