There are few series out there that nail the 'lonely wanderer' theme effectively, so it's peculiar to see Fallout 4 open in a world that's bursting with life. Soon enough though, the bombs drop, the world ends and the player emerges from their vault to - once again - wander a nuclear wasteland.
And what a wasteland it is. Fallout 4 really does capture the feel of being a drifting traveller. As you're making your way to one of the many destinations in the Boston/New England 'Commonwealth' of the 2270s, you'll find yourself distracted, lost in the once-civilised wilderness, wandering off to find out what that bright light is on the horizon (it's probably radiation).
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
GB: "Gamers have quickly realized that a fun open-world game isn’t just about size and scope but rather how you interact with it."
"It hasn't learned any lessons from predecessor New Vegas, and aside from smaller tweaks and decent gunplay, there's very little to the core game that wasn't in Fallout 3"
So...like Fallout 3 and didn't learn any "lessons from" New Vegas..
So its a solid buy, thanks lol. If the reviewer thought the last ones needed some fixing, they only confirm to fans that its more of the same and we'll be fine.
Thanks lol. If its not broke...don't fix it, I'd rather they give a new concept a radical shot if they feel they can pull it off. On top of that, what else could they actually do that someone is even seeking?
They want it to be a racing game or?
So a game like COD can come out yearly and hardly no reviewer complains about it not really adding onto anything but Fallout comes out after 7 years and suddenly they feel the need to say something
We can all play it ourselves and make our own opinions ...love it, like it or hate it, every person is entitled to their own opinion, so don't rag on this guys for giving his.
This review is a step in the wrong direction.
Fanboys are mad.
