I like happy (or at least pleasant) endings. I'm getting fed up with all these crappie depressing endings we get nowadays.

KwietStorm_BLM3524d ago

If only more games had happy endings. Can't wait for PlayStation VR!

is it a sequel or a reboot ?!
and do we have to know the story of the first one to understand this one story ?!

Kurisu3524d ago (Edited 3524d ago )

I didn't play the first and probably won't bother now (although I hear it's good) but I'll definitely be getting this. From what I've seen it looks great. Also some of the enemies remind me of giant robotic Tonberries xD

Eiyuuou3524d ago

Technically it's a sequel, but It's in another era, so thestories are barely connected, if not at all. Though there will be someminor references to the previous game.

that would be great , and quiet a relief :D

I'm still trying to figure out is it a RPG action game or just an action game? After playing the first game it had a lot of RPG elements in it.

S2Killinit3524d ago

I think they said it was a "action RPG". Hope that helps haha

Crashbandicoot773524d ago (Edited 3524d ago )

The new trailer looks like its an action slash game that's why I was asking.

Happy End? oh thank god cause the endings for Drakengard 3 were some of the most twisted, depressing stuff i've seen in a video game. Most of the Nier, Drakengard games don't have good endings like really good endings so hopefully something more pleasant happens in this one.

im not sure if they "saved" it, but Taro definitely shook things up with the story telling that hes so infamous for.

especially in times when free to play model was at its peak in gaming.

I never really felt that way, but I really enjoyed NieR: Automata, I made sure to get all the endings.

I’m not sure about that but it was good to have and hope we get more games from Yoko Taro that aren’t mobile
