Need for Speed 2015 - the review I didn't want to write. | CarThrottle

CarThrottle: "In the days before Turn10 made Forza into the customer-milking franchise it has become, NFS was king. Having hoped ‘the Crew’ would be good enough to knock Forza off the top-spot and recreate what I love about car culture, as with many others I was left sorely disappointed despite some of the coolest cars I’ve ever been able to drive online. I bought Forza Horizon 2 and had to abandon my morals because I absolutely loved it. Then the new Need for Speed trailer dropped and finally there was hope. Started the article like a Moron so...yep that's it.

Hoping the crew would knock Forza off the map?

Please... while you might hate the talent of the developers to consistently release quality content...

As far as I know the name Forza is synonymous with the highest rated racer of this generation.

Stupid review. Clearly a butthurt fanboy on top of it. I don't plan on picking this game up, but this review is worse than the game could ever be. I give this review a 1.3/10

Makes you think if gamers are looking to relive nostalgia or each dev that has attempted to mimic the glory days are just incompetent?

DarXyde144d ago

Truth. Loved Midnight Club.

I wouldn't be mad at another proper Underground or Most Wanted (PS2/X360) entry though.
