Claiming that things have "not always gone well as splitting yourself between two important tasks can be overwhelming." Maybe this is why development seems to be going so slowly. He has admitted to making several mistakes with games like Beach Bounce, citing an unedited script and the decision to go episodic among them."

Serena Nelson writes: "Just when you thought you heard the last of serial Kickstarter AJ Tilley he rears his head again, albeit briefly, to give some of the most insane news that I've heard in the past four years. In a recent backer-only update he announced that AJTilley.com will be closing shop. Apparently permanently. And with it has come some crazy housekeeping that has made my head spin since I first heard the news."
Serena Nelson writes: "Despite controversies surrounding AJ Tilley and his projects, as well as issues with the original writer, I honestly didn't think that Beach Bounce would ever be completed. In this case, though, I'm glad that I was proven wrong. With the "remastered" edition finally wrapping up the first game (there are two more sequels planned down the road) I finally decided to take a look at what has been changed. And, frankly, I think the rework, for the most part, improved the title immensely. It's not perfect, but it's better.
