Push Square: "Goosebumps: The Game can go eat worms as far as we're concerned. This dreary visual novel is packed with poor puzzles and even poorer prose, and it deserves feeding to the beast from the east as a consequence. The copious Goosebumps references will provide fleeting entertainment for fans – but we'd rather live the rest of our lives at ghost camp than even consider touching this sorry tie-in again."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "Goosebumps: The Game is just plain bad. Featuring really poor production values, the most basic puzzles you could imagine, as well as an uninteresting story, this is one of the least entertaining adventure titles I've played in years, as well as one of the worst licensed video games I've played in a while."
Handheld Players takes a look at the Nintendo Switch new releases in October 2018.
October is hot for switch!! I can't wait to play Super Mario Party, Warriors Orochi 4 and Dark Souls!!
Neil writes: "Without coming across as sounding ungrateful, it has to be said that last week's Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale was a bit, well, rubbish. With little in the way of utter bargains being sent the way of Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers, there had most definitely been better weeks. But hey, let's put all that in the past and crack on with the latest sale to hit the gaming scene - the Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 5th-11th June 2018... and it's considerably better than last time out, and that's even with the Biggest Xbox Sale of the Year just around the corner."
Please put "EU" in the title, otherwise you're wasting people's time if they are from other regions.
I wish licensed work like this would start going to smaller indie developers. 1 year ago they could say: here's 300,000. Make us a game that is not super high tech but is interesting and fun. Perhaps a retro style platformer. Dump it on the app store, for free-1.99 with some IAP. Pay apple to get front page app store coverage, that's huge promitional ad space.
Boom, now for probably lesss than 500k you have a great big ad, a more accessable game in more hands (than a poorly reviewed console game can hope for) and youll probably break even on that investment or with a little luck start profiting off the IAP.
This poop still around?
in every way to old children adventure games. Pretty low score though.. =(
Can't wait to buy this. *drives off cliff*
Game of the year.
