Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "The Corpse Party games are character-driven endeavors. They succeed because it’s easy to connect with the victims of the curse. These high schoolers have known each other for quite some time and tossing them into such a desperate situation allows us to see them at their best and worst. Their lives were in our hands with Corpse Party. With Corpse Party: Blood Drive, the focus shifts in the hopes our feelings for one specific character will compel people to play."
Bringing the epic conclusion to the three-part series to Steam after being a Vita exclusive, Corpse Party: Blood Drive sees the finale of the story of Shinozaki, facing the morale and immoral between life and death, what’s worth sacrificing, and what you’ll go through to get the ones you love back. With a bump in visuals thanks to a higher resolution, the PC version of Corpse Party: Blood Drive fixes all of the issues Vita suffered from years ago, making this a definitive experience to experience the amazing finale to the seminal series.
I played the Vita version years back and this is a highly underrated horror game IMO.
While its somewhat clunky gameplay stops it from standing out as the shining star of the Corpse Party series, there's no denying that Corpse Party: Blood Drive's trip Back to Heavenly Host is one that fans of the series won't want to miss.
