I like the Bungie Halo. 343 is doing a good job trying to fill a very big shoe left behind, but isnt quite matching Bungie.

All Bungie Halos are low to mid 90s on meta. So far 343 Halo 4 and 5 in their 80s. Halo 5 at 85 and score has been dropping.

Still, great great game. Just not quite the legendary as Bungie ones. Despite the contrary view only few devs moved from Bungie to 343. 343 is completely a new studio.

I preferred Halo 4 to 3... Personally think Bungies Halo's were average at best. Destiny shows how meh they are. As much as you can't take it Halo 4 is one of the better Halo's even if it's MP did suck but then again MP on Halo has always been hit or miss.

Thought the SP was awful (weakest of them all that I've played. Haven't played reach) but the I've enjoyed so much time with the MP! Now in fairness that may be because I didn't play it until mcc and I think they changed loads to the mp since the original launched on 360. Even so, my opinions on it remain xD

I didn't mind it. I liked that level on legendary the most. Halo 1 seems to rank pretty high among gamers based from these comments.

On Legendary there was moments I appreciated the intensity. Barely surviving on that final grenade or bullet was quite a rush

P.S That reminded me of all the times ive seen players follow that stupid robot around in Destiny and get ambushed over and over again.

On meta ODST is the worst. I would probably agree with you though. Reach had a few days of fun, but the maps and campaign did little for me. Lots of balancing issues as well when it came to the abilities.

I thought Reach was the worst. Characters killed off in silly ways and poor character development, and it contradicted pre established canon. Was cool seeing it leading into Halo 1 though. Felt full circle

I for one LOVED H3: ODST, it was really the first piece of Halo media that really portrayed the covenant as dangerous. I mean it took a LOT more to put down Elites or Grunts than it takes Chief which put a neat perspective on things.

I was agreeing until halo 4 was in 3rd. 3 and 1 are better than 4. I also though 1 was better than 3. Odst was pretty good I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be dlc instead of a full title so it's at an unfair disadvantage there. Never played reach or wars so no comment.

3 is not as good as it was when I first played it. The Cortana/Gravemind stages were especially annoying on Legendary (the only way to play these games).

ODST doesn't count because it is just a stand-alone campaign used as an excuse to re-release the H3 MP suite as a single package. Hardly worthy of its own place. It's just Halo 3.

I think reach and odst set a better mood than all the previous halos. But halo 1 is the best imo. It set the standard for fps controls on a console. It was as perfect at a shooter could get at the time. Theres no begter feeling than 4 player couch deathmatch that only halo provided at the time.

Halo 3 is the best Halo game for me. In terms of multiplayer, I felt Reach and every Halo game onward was pale in comparison. Maybe it wasn't the multiplayer itself but the community. Seemed like everyone was using their headset during the times of Halo 3 and MW2 and it was just a lot of fun whether it be playing custom games or ranked. Can't say the same for Reach and Halo 4 though.

I played Halo reach more than any halo game. So I give it the top spot. Halo wars definitely is not last to me. It was a special departure from the FPS genre and a noble attempt at something far different for halo fans. That I can appreciate. The game was solid to me. The story was a little poorly executed but the MP kept me busy for many hours.

I put them all on a special pedestal because I am a serious halo fan. Ranking them for me is hard. But ODST would be at the bottom if I had to rank them.

thats the end of halo for me, h5 is not canon for me so long as they include locke in halo, its not canon for me anymore, so i guess thats the end of it, but thats my list for sure.
