Polygon:
"In July 2015, developer Comcept launched a Kickstarter campaign for its game Red Ash. It didn’t go well.
Despite raising over $500,000 in pledges, the campaign missed its target and critics pummeled its approach — pointing to Comcept launching the campaign before seeing through a previous one, announcing a console port without identifying which console and continuing the campaign after finding external funding."

That's terrible. I was hyped when he broke off from the Japanese corporations to build his own business, he has directed some of my favorite games of all time. His first few games out of the new studio were a huge letdown and it was to sad to see the quality hit rock bottom. I appreciate him giving it a shot an taking the risk, it didn't work out and it happens. Maybe he will give it another shot someday and learn from these mistakes.
Keiji Inafune was once a legendary and iconic game developer, but after the disaster of Mighty No. 9 and the failure of Red Ash, he's disappeared.
I lost so much respect for this guy. I am still bitter over Mighty No. 9 and not getting the backer rewards as promised. All I've gotten was what was promised in the lowest tier with a t shirt and a dumb plushie.
Have you guys seen the latest comments on the MN9 Kickstarter page? Lots of backers still haven't gotten their rewards.

Dtoid's Chris Carter writes: "Someone had to go above their head and contact the distributor. This total and utter mess of a Kickstarter campaign isn't quite over yet. Recently, I've gotten several letters that Comcept still hasn't delivered on many of their promised physical backer rewards for Mighty No. 9."
