Greg Micek writes: "Every week we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn't to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you'd like to back, and which ones to run from. This week there were 47 to choose from."
Eventually, games are going to need to rely on these to sustain themselves.. If the men behind mega man, castlevania, shantae, etc needed to get on here because they couldnt find publishers, theres a problem.. What about kojima? DLC, season passes, and microtransactions are going to flood AAA games to the point people are going to get fed up. If AAA titles need that to stay alive, it really looks like the ceiling is ready to fall on top of this industry..
I really hope there isnt a crash like in the 70s.. I support the games i like from kickstarter but i really dont keep up with everything on there and theres no telling if its going to be good if you dont know whos making it.. AAA games might go down the toilet one day if they continue to get too expensive.. MGSV is a great example of a budget getting cut and us getting served an incomplete title..
Gary Stott writes: "It's beautiful, it's smooth, and it has great art direction that's seemingly inspired by the work of Fumito Ueda. But enough gushing praise."
