Tom Chick - "This is something that should be valued in a videogame. I’m as content as the next guy to mindlessly shoot a hundred dudes in a Call of Duty. But I also value games that make me think about something I wasn’t thinking about yesterday. Games that make me feel a way I don’t usually feel. Games that aren’t afraid to present complex subjects in all their complexity, wrangling gameplay into a thought-provoking exercise that is both entertainment and edification. Games like Prison Architect."
The 'Next Chapter' of Prison Architect could be revealed on January 16, more than a decade after the first game was revealed.
Neil writes: "There's a surprise content drop hitting Prison Architect - and we've got all the details concerning Free for Life"
Neil writes: "It’s seventh time unlucky for the wardens of Prison Architect as Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven announce the next expansion for the game - Gangs."
Version 1.0 has definitely brought it successfully out of its early access stage. It's now one of the extreme few to make it out to what actually feels like a full retail product. The added campaign was definitely needed & is done very well & gives a solid introduction.
Could never really get into it in early access. Never felt like I had the time to really get into it so I had it for over a year & had played it for a total of 3 hours ( lots of little sessions). Since 1.0 I've already doubled that & enjoying playing it a lot more.
