You can play alot of ps4 games on your vita and or smartphone this is news why?.

On your smartphone you can also use a ds4.

Well, it's news because not everybody know the beta works. Betas and demo's dont always work via remote play.

Crap controls and input lag.

Same with most remote play games. You can get better controls by using a DS4 on a Vita TV or Experia phone, but it doesn't get rid of the inherent input lag that comes with streaming your game from one device to another.

I find remote play in my house is brilliant. Next to no lag at all on the Vita. I played through most of AC Unity, Nathan Drake Collection (harder due to the Vita's naff sticks) and Driveclub. No problems. I think it's dependent on your setup and how far from the router you are.

Remote play works awesome at my house. Have the PS4 hardwired into my router, I play Destiny all the time while I watch Anime :)

I guess it depends what your using and where you're using it. I mean I could remote play in my house, but I have two PS4s for different rooms, so why would I?

Direct connection to the PS4 works fine, up to 15 feet or so, but any more than that and you're going to have issues. So the only utility I can get out of it, is outside of the house or further away, via the internet. That's where the latency comes in. Objectively there is always going to be additional latency when playing remotely, especially via the internet, so it ends up as a really kinda' crappy experience when compared to playing on the system itself.

Additionally, for games like The Witcher, aspects of the games design present a problem for remote play. On the Witcher 3 I cannot read any of the text in the game, because of how small it's presented on the Vita. It's pretty awful.

Also, even the demos at Sony's press events that I've been to have always had input lag on their Vita and Vita TV remote play setups. So I think it's a pretty common issue.

You must have your console connected wireless and have somewhat questionable internet....I have great internet and wire everything, remote play works awesome for me no lag whatsoever

100mbs wired fibre optical.

I'm sure Sony had there demo booths connected wirelessly with 'somewhat questionable' internet too.

Devs needs to start paying more attention to the controls for remote play.

You can play this game with the dual shock 4 if you don't mind crap controls.
