Can't believe they got rid the merchant in RE5

Apparently they had a system where they lived in houses but would only come out once you had cleared the area.

I have never read this before, thanks for the link. Why the heck didn't they make it like this T_T... It would've been so good, such different plans, including that merchant yeah, Barry and other cool stuff.

After reading it so many times only thing I can think of is co-op

They added co-op, reworked the game and that's what we got

I don't understand why they got rid of Barry when they added co-op but upgraded Sheva to a main character
