While it missed its intended September launch, the game is now live (as of yesterday) for folks playing on Xbox One in North America
Japanese-style action MMORPG Onigiri is coming to Switch via the Nintendo eShop on January 31 and Steam in February, developer CyberStep announced. The game will support cross-platform play between the two platforms.
Two ports and a completely new game are coming to Nintendo Switch: Onigiri, Akatsuki no Eiyuu Breakers, and Get Amped Mobile.
Paul writes "Onigiri is literally translated as "Demon Cutter", and knowing this little bit of information tells you a lot about what you need to know about the game. Set in a fantasy take on feudal Japan, the land is overrun with creatures of myth and legend."
Surprised this even got released on the XB1 considering how Japan devs seem so reluctant to release Japan games on the XB1. It's even more rare for it to hit the XB1 before the PS4. I would love to see more games.
glad xb1 is getting some more mmorpgs, going to download just to support both mmo and/or japanese games on the xb1.
Been playing it on xbox and I have to say it's pretty damn fun. Love the art style and the story is interesting. Can't wait to really put some time in it.
