Atlus has updated Persona 5's official website showing new artworks from the game.
Persona 5 is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in summer 2016.
"Last Surprise" and "Mass Destruction" are two of the best Persona battle themes, no doubt.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming
The Persona / Shin Megami Tensei cosplay gathering allowed fans of the acclaimed JRPG series to meet up during FanimeCon 2024.
Artwork looks to be taking a more Final Fantasy VI-era style combine with Persona 2's creepy style.
Wonder what that means for the tone of the game.
What is Persona about?
I recently tried out Disegea's demo and i enjoyed it. Now im curious what other games ive been missing out on.
It is also heavily based upon the concepts of Jungian psychology, that is, the theories and methods of psychotherapy made famous by Carl Jung. The very name of the series - 'Persona' - is a pysch terminology. Persona means mask. Our personas are the people we project out into the world for others to see and interact with, but we also have our shadows, those feelings, urges, and thoughts that are just as much a part of us, but that we don't want to reveal to the world. When those energies get bottled up and suppressed, they find their own way to find expression, and can cause serious mental issues, or psychosis.
All of this, and the theories of archetypes, dream analysis, and the collective unconscious play a HUGE role in the persona games for the initiated. It'd be worth it to brush up on the basics of Jungian psychology before you jump in; the game's will mean a lot more to you.
Me wanty.
