PlayStation Plus in October: Broken Age, Super Meat Boy, Unmechanical, more | Europe

The summer is over and the nights are drawing in but on the bright side that means we can spend more time losing ourselves in the world of videogames, with a fresh batch of PlayStation Plus games on their way to your system of choice.

Take note that as of the 6th October we will be removing Driveclub PS Plus Edition from the Monthly Games catalogue so if you haven’t had a chance to download it yet make sure your grab it before it disappears.

Is this the full run of Broken Age titles or just the first episode? I don't know much about the game but I was under the impression it was an episodic title? Can't wait to tear into it & I'm a glutton for punishment so I've been dying to try out Super Meat Boy for awhile too. Solid offerings this month, can't wait to see what all will be on offer for the rest of the year, seems like they'll put together some great offerings for the holidays.

They could add some bigger budget games by now though . Kill zone, knack, ghost, theif ect all under $15 pick ups each for a example & Assassins creed black flag . idk just my opinion. I personally don't care about the free games I just buy it for the online use lol so I'm fine either way the games are just a bonus for me when I do download them

I do remember back in 2014. When a lot of people pissed about april PS+, there no free AAA games. It's still the same thing in this month. I understand people complaining but it not like those two games are bad or anything. They are great games. I remembered that i downloaded and play Velocity 2. It was a great game. Do i find this is underwhelming ? Yes. But do i think those games are bad ? No. Just give a shot. Also, i don't find this shocking really. Of course, it not like everyone can please everthing.

Who cares! Just let them whine. I'd rather PS+ giving indie games i haven't played than big budget games i have played - owned (like AC4 or Tomb Raider). That said, if they offer big budget games that i haven't played i won't say no.

April was pretty good, 2 AAA's and 3 new releases, and Never Alone wasn't as indie and Broken Age. I'm most disappointed about the two PS3/Vita offerings I got for $1 a while back.

I'm sorry to say put i think i'll end my yearly subscription. Not a single AAA game this year and i really don't play online. So 50e/year is too much. PS Plus on PS3 was excellent, but PS4 has been a dissapointment.

Now I know some people like indies, but MOST people would like a little variety. One month indies, one month AAA, rinse and repeat.

We don't just want indies month after month after month after month.

The sad thing is, they are probably paying more for some of these indies then they would if they did some of the launch or 1st year AAA titles. Many of those games I've seen for under $10, so they are CHOOSING to only give us indies, and that's a massive mistake.

I'm most disappointed at the two $1 old/mediocre games they are offering for the Vita. I never thought they would offer such games, that's why I buy the cheap ones on sales, but now I'm afraid to buy even those since they're now offering them on PS+.. -.-

Sometimes I really think that PS Plus's sole purpose is for online purposes. The free games are just there for bonus.

I really enjoyed Chariot when it was part of the GWG program earlier this year. I am excited to play through it again! I hear fantastic things about Broken Age and Super Meat Boys as well, so all in all I have a lot to look forward to this month!
