Half-Life 2 art director and Dishonored designer Viktor Antonov has died aged just 52.
One of my biggest art heroes. His work and vision were truly one of a kind, and he’s been a huge inspiration to my own work. Such a heartbreaking loss.
Remember seeing Dishonored for the first time when it released, fell in love with the art style straight away, so striking! And because of it, still holds up and will for years to come, RIP Viktor
So sad to hear this. I absolutely love the Dishonored series and love the world and art style. It looks great and unique. I'm still hoping for a Dishonored 3
After celebrating the 20th anniversary, Half-Life 2 reached top 5 on the Steam Deck Top Played list. It's also on a 90% sale.
TNS: "The valid reasons that Valve have given for shunning Half-Life 2: Episode Three are sounding increasingly less compelling."
How many times have we played this game? They know any time they release it will the perfect time. But it's unlikely to be now. That's too simple. And they don't need that push right now.
They can't do it. According to some articles, a janitor went 'Good Will Hunting' to save the entire company from collapsing because of this game.
Bioshock was another fantastic shooter
BioShock would be #1 for me
Wolfenstein reboot was also excellent, but I have to agree with the above comments, The Bioshock games and System Shock 2 would take first place for me.
Shadow Warrior (reboot) is pretty neat too.
Black was a good fps shooter with its hectic shoot outs. My hands were shaking the first time i beat that game. Spec-Ops: The Line was another good shooter imo, but moreso for the gripping adult story than the actual gunplay.
