Broforce is no longer coming to PSVita

Whilst asking for an interview, the team at The Vita Lounge learned that the destructive run and gun platform title Broforce won't actually come to the Vita after all.

No it isn't Broforce is the kind of game that would be terrible on the Vita...The characters are tiny on a giant TV, it would be even worse on a little 7in screen

This is a shame, Sony just throw the PS VITA in the garbage. Even the Indies games are abandoning the VITA.

You know....*sniff* i thought, hoping beyond hope, that the Vita one day would rise from the ashes and return strong and have the come back of a lifetime...but now that BROFORCE... the greatest and important game of our generation, nay, EVER MADE is no longer coming to the Vita...now i know...now i know for sure....that it is truly and utterly gone. Vita!.. if only BROFORCE would have been released on you, you could have been the greatest handheld ever.... but alas this was not in the cards.... now i can move on ... now i can truly live...my....LIFE...

ARGH Sony should have never elaborated on not making another hand-held.

I know the Vita isn't the best selling thing ever but I really love my Vita. I take it while traveling, at work, etc. It's (to me) much more travel friendly than the 3DS. The battery will last for a couple weeks and it has tons of games.

Cross-play is so amazing. I loved beating Grim Fandango and Shovel Knight via cross-save. I'd play late at night, shoot it to the cloud, and pick up right where I left off on my Vita on the way to work.

A couple weeks? If you never play a game on it maybe. You only get 7-8 hours or so of gameplay, maybe more if you turn on airplane mode. I play my Vita all the time.

I play about 45 min a day on it and I keep it in my car for a couple weeks at a time. Not sure if I have a certain mode on but it lasts way longer than my 3DS does.

Not a game I was gonna buy, but still sad. Seemed like a perfect fit for the Vita.

This was a day one Vita purchase for me. I don't want it on any other system though.

In a past article these devs said that Sony gave them a "deal" they couldn't refuse. I'm sure they were given some sort of funding for this game to be on PS4 first. If anything Sony should have kicked in some extra dollars for a Vita port.

You can always play this on the Vita with remote play anyway. No big loss...

Yea...this is what I don't understand. With remote play why are people looking for a Vita version? Maybe this is why it's not coming.
