Push Square: "PlayStation VR is a real product. I should know – I had one of the potentially expensive peripherals strapped to my bonce for a good part of the afternoon. It marks the first time that I've gotten eyes-on time with Sony's virtual reality headset, and I must admit that I'm quite taken with the technology. My first taste of the accessory came courtesy of Capcom's gruesome Kitchen – a demo that's garnered millions of reaction video views since debuting at E3 2015 earlier in the year. And having screamed through the sampler like a small child, it's easy to see why."
Sony Interactive Entertainment published the latest ranking for PS4 downloads on the Japanese PSN. This gives a better glimpse on how PlayStation VR games
I wouldn't mind summer Lesson, (I'm fed up with shooting stuff) shame it will never release over here.
Rez deserves all sales it gets.. i really wish devs will do same treatment to Child of eden
Short Pause: "Check out all of our PSVR gameplay videos, all in one convenient
spot. Enjoy!"
In today's weekly Famitsu, the editors got an opportunity to interview both Resident Evil Producers James Vance and Masachika Kawata about the release of Kitchen VR. When asked towards the end of the interview if Beginning Hour would get VR support Masachika Kawata replied saying it's "under consideration".
I've been playing SOMA and absolutely loving it. I xan't help but wonder what it would be like in VR. The distortion effect when near WAU monsters really creeps me out, but strangely enough I'd love to experience it in VR.
I imagine it would be a similar experience to The Kitchen, an people who have tried Alien Isolation in VR also say the same thing. That when the Alien comes up infront of you it is terrifying because your body reacts and believes the threat of danger is really in front of you.
Why do we like these terrifying experiences so much? :)
PSVR is definitely one day buy for me, and I dont care how its cost. If PSVR selling under $300- hot cakes. I believes that Sony will make it big with gaming, app, social, etc. Aint Sony learns from 3Dtvs, pspvita, psmove mistakes? This PSVR will be big if it all perfect price, comfortable, AAA games, social, n Apps. Sony is in beast mode bro
300 pound is the sweet spot for me if 250 wow
Well... I have the camera, the move controllers but I´m wondering a few things...
- Aren't they coming out with better controllers for this?
- Sony mentioned only 10 supported games for 2016, seems too little to me.
- How long is that cable? I can´t imagine it being less that 3 meters... if it is shorter it´s a fail for the living room.
- What exactly is the recommended time to use before barfing... seriously there hasn´t been enough clarification on what´s the time advised.
- We have seen plenty of tech demos or really short games... Where´s a serious AAA for it?
I really want this to succeed but I need more sustenance, so far I not yet sold on day one purchase.
