Hands-on Preview of Halo 5’s “Blue Team” and “Enemy Lines” Campaign Missions | Entertainment Buddha

EB: Based on the two Halo 5: Guardians campaign missions I played, I can assure Halo Nation that it’s in for a treat when the game drops on October 27, 2015 for the Xbox One. Visually it’s stunning, thanks to the 1080p 60fps graphics and framerate, and for the fact that it was fully built for the Xbox One so you can see the power of the console in action in every aspect of the campaign. The sound design may be even more impressive than the silky smooth visuals, thanks to the improved gun reports, and all of the AI chatter and battlefield sounds you can hear surround sound style. In terms of gameplay, everything I experienced had the Halo campaign feel we’ve all come to love (albeit with slight improvements in mission tracking), and a few more weapons of mass destruction to test out.
