If you assumed that Sony blew its entire load at this year’s E3 when it comes to announcements, you’re dead wrong. At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sony took the stage and essentially gave attendees and viewers round 2 of what it showed at E3.
While the announcements understandably weren’t as big as the megatons dropped during E3, Sony still announced a ton of games. And to think, we still have Paris Games Week and this year’s PlayStation Experience in December to look forward to.
What did the PlayStation LifeStyle crew think of Sony’s TGS 2015 presser? Read on.

There's no excuse for posting a huge editorial blasting Naughty Dog for "Uncharted 4" when the writer was playing Uncharted 2. There might be reason for him to make the mistake in the first place, because the Nathan Drake Collection looks great and it's been years...
But the editor absolutely should have realized that Uncharted 4 wasn't at the show. No one else was writing about Uncharted 4 at TGS, so wouldn't he realize something was wrong?
I don't agree with the finding of that placebo effect using Don't Starve. The second time they played it they were told the AI was more adaptive and a lot of people said they could tell it was better. Well ... the first time they played it they just 'played it', while the second time they played it they were signposted on what to look for, which they did. That's not a good test at all. If they were told to look at the AI in their first playthough and THEN told it was improved on their second playthough, then that would have been a valid test.
From what I've heard I don't think video game music translates well to the symphony. The older stuff that was "chiptune" to begin with, I mean.
Tokyo Games Show is bigger than ever, but a conservative showing from third-party publishers and the keenly felt absence of Microsoft leaves it feeling a little hollow.
Sony had an amazing TGS conference, just like they'll have incredible conferences at PGS and PSX. All throughout August we had article after article saying Sony was going to suffer for not having a conference at GamesCom to counter Microsoft, conveniently forgetting that they had other conferences for the rest of the year for the sake of clicks.
"If you missed Gravity Rush on Vita (which, going by statistics, you probably did, you piece of sh**), then you should support innovation and originality in games by buying this. I am telling you how to spend your money because I am your mom now. Like that? You like how a game made me your into your mom? That's PS4 power, baby!" -GR
Would have been nice to get Gravity Rush 2 on PS4 but also like a prequel or something on Vita -- something nice for those who bought the original, you know?
Still, great for those who haven't played this.
I loved Gravity Rush on my Vita, but I totally undertsand making 2 on PS4. They can add a lot to what 1 was lacking. There were only a few models for NPCs and the world can be much more "alive" and detailed with the extra power. I will remote play this though at night in bed when my wife falls asleep.
Gravity Rush 2 on PS4 looks gorgeous.
I adore Gravity Rush on the Vita, it'll be nice to play the remastered edition on PS4 with all the story dlc and extra outfits ect.
It's crazy that Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2 are both coming to PS4 relatively soon, my PS4 is ready.
Extra Point: Gravity Rush Remastered releases December 10, 2015 (jap) and feb 9th (na). Gravity Rush 2 releases in 2016 exclusively on PS4. It's time Kat becomes a superstar, she definitely deserves it.
Oh yes. I want this. The gameplay looked fresh and exciting. thank you for the release dates above. bubble for you IamTylerDurden1.
Can't wait to finally play Gravity Rush, recently i've finished Tearaway Unfolded on PS4 and loved it.
Still thinking to buy a Vita too.
The Gravity Rush games were the only thing that looked decent and that's probably because of the broader appeal.
I wanted to be excited for the Yakuza news, but I'm not a fan of them not supporting a english dub track since the first game, I understand that some the actors they got for the first sucked, but I put that fault on whoever did the casting and if other Japanese companies can still put out the money for it, then so should a ccompany such a Sega.
Overall it was a fun event and I don't regret staying up to 3am to watch it.
Can't wait for Paris Game Week.
