2015: The year Konami burned.

GigawattConduit3140d ago

Konami is burning like the California forest, swear to god

DevilOgreFish3140d ago (Edited 3140d ago )

Not cool dude. but i do see your point.

BLizardXD3140d ago (Edited 3140d ago )

i'm sure you weren't linking them nefariously. I will say that i live within 50 miles of the spread fire, and that my prayers go out to the now homeless. And i know people that have homes within the area. just putting that out there.

DevilOgreFish3140d ago

My family use to live within the area many years ago. sucks to know that most of the area won't be the same after all of this. lots of money in real estate lost, jobs, and displaced citizens.

Okay, that reference was a bad one, I apologize for it.

Just you wait until Konami quits Konami

GreetingsfromCanada3140d ago (Edited 3140d ago )

Well, Pachinko machines aren't very graphically demanding anyway.

gangsta_red3140d ago

LOL! Exactly, what else is this guy suppose to do.

chrisx3140d ago

The heads at konami really suck, all of them. Its we gamers who suffer at the end

Xavior_Reigns3140d ago

Where's Joffrey when you need him.

Jayszen3140d ago

I agree that Konami suck, but there are plenty of good devs out there and I am sure that Kojima will land on his feet at a place where they appreciate his talents and abilities. Konami may well rue the day the let Mr. Kojima go! We gamers will have plenty of other good games to enjoy.

I am sad Metal Gear Solid may well be over after Phantom PAin but I rather that it was never made then to see anyone else other then Kojima in charge of a MGS game.

gangsta_red3140d ago

It really is a shame that we may never see another Contra, Castlevania, Metal Gear or Silent Hill game ever again.

Since The Contra Revival Shows Konami Still Cares, How About A New Castlevania?

Hanzala from eXputer: "Contra: Operation Galuga is a classic revival done right, but why hasn't Konami done the same yet for the bigger and more popular Castlevania?"

shinoff218319d ago

Slowdown. Let them get these suikoden games done first. Alot of us are still waiting for those

XiNatsuDragnel19d ago

Castlevania fighting game for wii needs to be remade plz

Aphrodia18d ago

well, the new C ontra was made by Wayforward, who have been taking sooooo many of these classic franchises and making new iterations of them. Imo they aren't very good at it. And I don't see operation galuga being a large enough success to possibly give them Castlevania.

It’s almost like Metal Gear is a well known franchise

Horrible news more proof todays "gamer" is just a cow ready to be milked.

That mgs collection is no better than my ps3 copy but my ps3 copy has 0 server restrictions i always roll my eyes when reviewers or these new "youtube gamer" channels show off the information books on a webpage via a trash in game browser or the lack of controller support like it s a good thing.

Also GOG still has a better version mgs 1 or use the duck ps1 emulator.

Well time for the peace walker remaster pc port 480p 20fps needs a rtx 3090 or 6900xt to run with dunovo konami account then a govt id check.

just_looken75d ago (Edited 75d ago )

All the bonus content on the new collection needs a konami server to load them up if you pull your lan cord only the games will work but that is temp as those games are digital goods.

When i said digital i know there is a disc version games are on the disc i was referring to the pc version and the patches after the fact but yes ps5 has a disc version.

As long as it's not like Twin Snakes. And I hope they have the option to keep the original PSone voice tracks, which is a huge part of the appeal for me. The Twin Snakes voice tracks sounded worse, and had lame script changes as well.

Babadook7104d ago

Of Course. Go straight to the near perfect source.

porkChop104d ago

It's likely going to be handled just like Delta.

just_looken104d ago (Edited 104d ago )

Its probably like resident evil 2 remake.

for those that do not know fans remade that game until the garage scene but then was shutdown by capcom a few years later bam RE2 hd remaster.
