PS Vita Reviews just finished the handheld's first MOBA. Here are their final thoughts on the game:
"Invokers Tournament is the first MOBA to grace the PlayStation Vita and a free one at that. On the downside, some of the controls aren’t explained to you at all, there is a little lag in multiplayer, and there are a couple small hiccups in the gameplay, most notably the sluggish pacing. The game’s not a terrible MOBA, but you’ve got to be able to get comfortable with the pacing beforehand."
VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "Ever since the advent of full-game downloads on consoles, it seems the market has slowly been shifting towards a digital future where games are delivered through internet connections rather than physical disks. While the convenience this brings is undeniable, and plenty of gamers have embraced having a stuffed memory card in their Vita, there are major pitfalls that are slowly beginning to show, one of which is that games can be delisted without any prior warning, leaving them lost to time unless you bought them before they disappeared."
Invokers Tournament is a decent first foray into MOBA territory on PS Vita, packing entertaining multiplayer battles and an array of different equipment and weapons. It’s held back by some quirky pacing issues and an evident lack of abilities, but it should provide a good amount of fun to those looking for a competent online experience.
Sounds like a fun game for the Vita. The only MOBA I really got into playing was (and still is) League of Legends on PC. So this could make a nice little substitute when being away from the computer.
Seems a shame that this could be let down a bit by its pacing. Although for a first foray into the MOBA genre it isn't surprising that there are some issues. It does look like it could be a bit of fun though.

I played the Beta a long time ago. It's so low quality. I feel like it wouldn't have changed much at all, either. Really felt like an old PS2 game.
Playing Trans-Galactic tournament it is a better F2P title in just about every way.
