Well it was on PS Now for a long time, so were a lot of games. Looks good though.

Personally I didn’t like it all that much. Not a bad game just wasn’t for me.

Bathory666665d ago

I’m with you there. It was borderline unplayable due to the controls. Try the remake. It fixes everything about the original thank god.

Siren is the type of game I desperately want to enjoy - the gameplay just isn't fun, the game isn't scary, and the puzzles aren't challenging in a cool Silent Hill way, they're just esoteric as hell. I think the idea behind it is ingenious, it just needs better hardware to get off the ground.

Me either. Siren is my kind of game and I bought Blood Curse when it came out on PS3. I absolutely hated it.
I managed to sell it for a nice price when it became rare and some started to see it as a collectors item though.

"One of the best PS2 games"..? I don't even recall this one, but if it has similarities to Silent Hill I'd definitely check it out

ocelot07665d ago

It was very good and had a silent hill feeling to it. Did you never play Siren Blood Curse on the PS3?

Duke19665d ago

No - another one I completely missed although googling it now and it definitely looks pretty cool

Vanfernal664d ago

It's no coincidence. The director of Siren is the director of the first Silent Hill

I own it . Good game for sure

The chick that wrote this article got a bunch of things wrong. And yeah both games have been on ps now for sometime.

Not to mention the countless other things she gets wrong. Kind of a weird read.

Played both games and think they are okay at best .

Bathory666665d ago

I agree. The ps2 game was mediocre. The remake though, outstanding.
