Gamers have long clamored to have a greater role in the development and evolution of mmorpg games. Historically, such options have always been limited as developers generally only solicited feedback from players on features already put into the game or on upcoming systems that the developers felt players would respond to. This meant that the main outlet for players to give voice to their desires and concerns was the average game forum. Yet it seems that more developers are soliciting the opinions of players to a much greater degree in recent years, and players now have the ability to directly help impact a game's development through platforms such as Kickstarter. The question is: how big a voice should players have in mmos?
