Today The Last of Us Part II director Neil Druckmann posted some interesting information on his Instagram account.
I honestly don't think it's coming this year. I'm thinking some time in 2020. We'll see though. Regardless of when it comes, it'll be one hell of an experience.
I didn't think so either and then a pretty reliable source on Resetera hinted today that it would be out this year.
I think it will come out in October of this year and I think it will be announced in June at Sony's big event for the PS4. I also think we'll see a PS5 remastered version in 2020 when the PS5 comes out.
I think October or September is likely. I think Sony will talk about it in May. I think they are waiting for Days Gone to be out before they talk about anything else. They know that hype around Days Gone has been mixed in some circles and they don't want to take any attention away from it by talking about TLOU before it's out.
But doesnt this info conflict with it coming out this year? They havent added her scenese yet. And then playtesting and polish.
The game could be in a full playthrough state with just some mocap left or maybe she they did some reshoots which has happened b4. It'll be around October this year or March/April nxt year imo
False. Uncharted 4 finished mo-cap work just 3 months before it released. They can be done with the actual gameplay and still be doing mo-cap.
I'm seriously thinking DS, GOT, and TLOUP2 will all be cross generation titles.
While you don't NEED a PS5 to play them, it certainly won't hurt to have such huge projects available at or around launch on the new hardware.

I mean...how much money was raked in from cross platform releases? It's gonna happen to some things. And let's face it, if they know the target architecture for PS5 or Xbox Two, they can make sure all the assets are ready for a higher end beast up front. Remaster or higher def upgrade becomes a piece of cake. Relatively.
Makes less sense not to do it.
The only case "against" cross generation I can think of is the still-unknown-yet-all-but-conf irmed feature of backwards compatibility. Perhaps we can assume that games will launch on PS4 and be enhanced through PS5? Honestly, I am quite unsure how they will approach it. But now I believe that we may well see a price difference where software will get more expensive.

I recently finished The Last of Us again on the remastered version I got for Black Friday. Such a good game, it blows my mind that anyone could say single player isn't relevant...
I went back through and did the Grounded modes after the last trailer. Still a great game. Maybe I'll work myself up enough to go do the MP to finally get the platinum in the game.
So Sony has officially won E3 2018 before the new year even starts. Awesome! 👍🏼

we can expect The last of us 2 gameplay and most likely death stranding gameplay for e3 2018. They pretty much have it in the bag if you ask me.

Good thing you didn't read the rest, Fetch from Infamous Second Son , Cole Phelps from L.A Noire, the chick from From Home (wtf), freaking Wolverine from LEGO MARVEL. Don't get me wrong, they're not bad performance, but best Gaming voice acting performances ever??? sight....

They definitely modeled Fetch after her.
She will always be Rise Kujikawa's voice actor to me.
She is by far my favorite voice actor. I have been a huge fan since Bloodrayne.
