Today Bandai Namco announced that Gundam Battle Operation NEXT has been downloaded 100,000 times since its release on PS4 and PS3 last week.

Today Bandai Namco released Gundam Battle Operation NEXT for PS4 and PS3 in Japan. If you’re used to World of Warships or World of Tanks, the concept is somewhat similar, even if the free to play business model is a bit different, relying more on the “energy” concept. And of course, it has mobile suits from the Gundam series.
Gundam: Battle Operation Next, the newly announced free-to-play followup to PlayStation 3’s Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, is the Mobile Suit Gundam game first teased for PlayStation 4 in 2013 and again last year.
A trailer released for the game today features the same visuals from the 2014 teaser trailer, confirming the aforementioned.
