That's a shame. I'm not sure whether India even has a game development industry, and if they do it's likely mobile games they focus on. But I'm just speculating, if anyone has more insight please let us know.

While Microsoft os is generally used everywhere in India over Apple os, India is a playstation country as far as gaming is concerned.

The Xbox brand mainly does well in the UK and of course North America. Whereas, the PlayStation brand does well in every territory it's in. The Xbox brand just doesn't have great worldwide brand appeal like the PlayStation brand does. The PlayStation brand is more popular, always has been and still is. Whether you like it or not.
