The online multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is included with the main game, but you'll have to wait until October 6th to play it
So a month to get through the SP? SEEMS ABOUT RIGHT!!
Wow that's a long time to wait for the other half of your game purchase. I thought the Gta 5 two week wait was bad enough.
It wasnt half of my purchase. It was extra bang for my buck.
Yep, while I'm excited to play online with my friends I think most people would of bought MGSV had there been no multiplayer at all.
Rofl game companies love that kind of thinking ..... its ur money so spend it how you want but lets not act like we weren't supposed to get the whole version of the game. I purchased this game going in With the understanding that i wasnt getting the full version, i would have to wait till they fixed the mp.
@81BX Its not that i am a mindless consumer, but I buy mgs for it's singleplayer. After MGO2 closed, i still played 4 over and over cuz it was just that damn good. Not once did i feel like my purchase was wasted just cuz they took away mp. The game is whole btw. The core mode for every fan of the series is there and in a month, we will have reason to return to it. As far as Im concerend, my $60 was spent for the amazing SP i know mgs games have.
The GTA wait was more like 2 months considering how broken it was, and we didn't get heists until about a year later which were advertised at the same time as everyone else.
You know it's free right, comes out as an update on Oct. So that means it's already in the game and you are not paying anything extra at all. It's good that it comes out in Oct, that gives us a month to complete the story, side missions, etc and time for them to work hard on the MGO.
I suppose your right. Maybe I just feel games should release with both modes available to play if they were announced prior to release.
Nice, I'll be there ready to go!
Played about ten hours yesterday(haven't done that in years), and I'm at 3%. Granted in that last hour or so I had gone from doing well, to really feeling like I had mastered the mechanics. But that's really just with the tools I have at....hand... Get it? Bionic punch!
Nice, MGO2 was my most played multiplayer shooter from last gen, and I expect this will be it for this gen as well!
