Every year, EA Sports comes out with a new edition of its super popular "Madden NFL" game. And I've bought each new version since 2010.
I'm not unlike a lot of people. Many Madden fans buy the new game each year, even if it may seem like very little has changed.
But the question is why?
ere's why I buy the new 'Madden' game every single year
A once bustling space offering plenty of choices, now a desolate land of greed, did EA really kill the sports game genre?
They made them better than everyone else at first. Once no one was playing any of the inferior options, they turned the investors loose on the customers.
In 2008, Codemasters acquired the license to create the official F1 games, which was carried over to EA Sports after it acquired the studio. However, the long-standing partnership could end after the 2025 season.
EA Sports dropped their first gameplay trailer for College Football 25 today and the game looks truly amazing. Buried in the details of the game hype, however, is a significant letdown for those who play online dynasty (a significant portion of the userbase).
None of those are really good reasons.
well they are good reasons if you a football fan and a madden fan... it shows the difference every year.... but some dont justify 60 bucks
I am going to take a wild guess you like football and.... the NFL
You could seriously release 1 Madden game every 5 years and sustain it with updates/DLC each year.
It's not worth $60 every single time.
The menu system? What about the new passing system, the new catching options, the improved gameplay. Whoever wrote this just wants clicks, and isn't very concerned with their writing ability.
