The Witcher 4: What's next for the series and Geralt of Rivia?

I'll be fine if this is the last chapter. The ending (or one of them) was just perfect to wrap thing up, while giving the idea that the world lives on.

Happy they're working on a different project, and if we're ever going back to Geralt, it won't be in less than five years or so, as it should be.

Not 100% sure we will see another witcher this new gen. If the game takes at least 4 years to make, plus we're 2 years in and they're nowhere near starting, i wouldn't bank on seeing anothe witcher until the new gen of digi only games arrives.

Digi Only games will never happen. Atleast not in the next 20 years. Hopefully not until Im dead and gone because I will never be fine with that. The day my physical collection stops growing is the day I walk away.

You may be right, but my money would be on digi's and streaming by the time the next gen starts. If there is even a physical console, i doubt they will have drives.

Definitely not. Half the world doesn't have good enough Internet. And a hell of a lot of people have data caps.
5-6 years ago they said the same about movies. DVDS are still popular as ever.

I still have a long way to go with Witcher 3. What an epic adventure it has been and will continue to be.

CDProjekt confirmed they were done with the Witcher series. Also, the Witcher 3 had very multiple endings that were quite different to each other. Unlike Witcher 2 whose endings just had a couple of different consequences, different people etc.
