A weekend with Wargaming, eSports and a Cow Thief

Gaetano Prestia of MMGN writes: In my eight years travelling and writing about games, nothing had me prepared for what I experienced in Seoul over the weekend. I knew esports was all kinds of crazy in Korea, but I, like many other Australians with a passing interest in the sport, didn’t quite appreciate the devotion and celebrity of professional gaming in Asia. I went in not quite knowing what to expect, and walked away satisfied having seen something pretty special: a bunch of like-minded peers getting together and competing at the highest level, jousting for bragging rights amidst a spectacle of bright lights and international fame.

Cool. There’s a lot more to esports gaming then just playing. I know some who have become esports commentators or hosts there’s many types of jobs involved in esports.
