Bungie's confused shooter is entering its second year with 'The Taken King', but how has it even got this far?
It's the obsession with "leveling up" that long time gamers have.
i get that same feeling with Borderlands.... and its just as great. regardless of which game gives it to you.
It's candy crush. You do mindless things that take a little bit of skill and then you get a virtual reward. Yay I won a prize! Fantastic article, by the way.
A game that still gets updates and expansions. Getting better little by little. I didn't like it that much at first, but now I won't put it down! Can't wait for The Taken King!
The fact that it's a Bungie game helps.
Why did you ever?
Why wouldn't he or she?
why is it a problem or even something to question? if you like a game you like it. that's all that matters!
I was about to post something along the same line. Why do people feel the need to defend their interests, or get so offended when they can't convince others to share the same?
I agree with you 100%!!! Play what you like! But, since Destiny's launch, there has been an ever increasing negativity attached to the game. With the Taken King coming out, it's started to ramp up again. So, I think he is just really saying what most Destiny players are thinking and trying to express when they are attacked in forums for "still playing a broken game or being taken advantage of by Activision/Bungie"...it 39;s just FUN!
Its a rewarding and constantly updated game. An FPS that delivers content on a regular basis like MMOs. Not too hard to see why its a strong attached community
That's a very good question.
Because it is a blast to play with friends and the gameplay is buttery smooth.
Taking King will only make the game better just take my money Bungie
I think i'm the worst destiny player there is. Struggled to enjoy it. Also think the ds4 would be better for this game. I'm like the only person who doesn't fly through the air and one shot kill people. I unload half a round and the opposition just laugh.
I don't know.....I think I may be the best bullet bait here, lol.
It's really simple. Opinions of a game should NEVER determine how much fun YOU are having with the game. It's your time, your money, and YOUR idea of fun. Some people really, really like the grind. Some people really just enjoy the mechanics. Some people are just obsessed with having to get the next, shiny thing so that they can walk around and flaunt their e-penises. Either way, as long as it's fun to THEM, it's a question that truly needs no answer.
