Brad reviews the impossibly difficult, yet incredibly addictive, Velocibox for the PlayStation Vita. This minimalist endless runner might prove to be a challenge, but its instant restart feature keeps you hooked.
The latest round of discounts on the North American PlayStation Store are somewhat poor. There's a few games that have been discounted, but it's slim pickings for those looking for a decent way to splash some cash. Five games were put on sale. Five games. Ouch.
Today, two more games have been discounted.

Years ago, PlayStation 3 and PSP owners were treated to The Impossible Game, a side-scrolling endless runner. Few could ever hope to beat the game, despite the infinite lives. It also happened to be rather cheap, so even though most people easily got frustrated with it and quit, they were able to say they got their money's worth. Fast-forward to today, and Velocibox channels that same impossible feeling.
There's been a lot of "so hard, but so good" games on Vita lately, but this one looks unique enough to warrant a buy. :)
I love games like this for when you just have a few minutes to kill and you just want something fun for a bit. I can't see myself playing this for long periods of time, but 5-10 minutes here and there is about right. I think comparing it to Jet Car Stunts is appropriate since that's how I play that game.
