Neil writes "If you haven't yet purchased either Squid Hero or Boom Ball for Kinect, then perhaps today's digital bundle release will tempt you in."
Neil writes: "It's a bit of a quiet time in gaming, but that in itself is a bit of a godsend, giving us the chance to check out a number of older titles that may have been missed the first time around. With the Xbox Deals With Gold sale, there's a fair old chance that those games are going to be available at a discounted asking price too, delivering all manner of cheap Xbox One and Xbox 360 to the masses - particularly when you add the massive Xbox Super Game Sale to proceedings. Want to check out the full list of those games which have been discounted thanks to the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 16th-22nd July 2019, alongside those Super Game Sale titles that see a further discount to the 29th July? We've got all the details."
Neil writes "As much as many of us love it, Kinect is unfortunately dying. But if there was one indie studio which embraces the technology wholeheartedly, then it is the guys at the Virtual Air Guitar Company. Today, Xbox One players are able to grab some of their biggest hits, in one huge bundle."
Somebody wants to resurrect Kinect? Even Microsoft is trying to bury that device, which is proven by their latest Xbox One S units not having any dedicated ports for the webcam like original models.
At least someone wants to try and keep this thing alive.
Neil writes "I’m guessing that near on all gamers will, at some point in time, have played Breakout or at least one of the many variations on it. Whether it be on a retro console, mobile device or PC, the aim of the game is the same; fire a load of balls at a brick wall in order to break out.
Now though, the Xbox One is getting in on the action with the arrival of Boom Ball. But it’s not a Breakout clone as we know it. In fact, it brings something entirely different to the table."
I've had this game for months from a sale but not played it yet, I guess I need to if it's that good.
Boom Ball reminds me of an old Wii game I used to play, can't remember its name, looks fun though.
