Somewhere between scratching my head for an hour on end and the game crashing in the middle of an a-ha moment, something in me snapped.
The building frustration of hours spent playing without successfully completing a puzzle had broken me, and something deep within my stomach made sitting calmly in front of my laptop an exercise in futility.
There is a surprising amount of depth in The Talos Principle, both in terms of its narrative and gameplay. The game itself breaks down to numerous puzzles which require the player to safely bypass security systems in order to collect tetromino shapes. Enemies in the game include wall-based turrets with far-reaching scanners, and patrolling drones which go kamikaze if they get you in their sights, exploding on impact.

This game is gorgeous. It might be hard to make more DLC or a sequel, but I hope if Croteam makes another game it keeps some of the aesthetics of the Talos Principle.
I'm waiting until I can play this on the PS4. My PC just can't handle this game.
