A dropcrate plummets from the sky and crashes into an engine of a rising dropship. The crate disintegrates and disgorges its cargo of armed clones and aerial bombs. While the munitions wreak havoc of shrapnel and napalm, one clone survives the crash. Although he lacks legs, the clone still manages to squeeze off a few rounds from his battle rifle before he’s crushed by the debris from the crashed dropship. Luckily, the same flying pieces of a downed orbital craft squish the enemy Brain bot – the original target of the doomed dropcrate mission. This marks yet another victory in the side-scrolling 2D strategy game of Cortex Command.
