Ubisoft Details AnvilNext Improvements - 10X More Objects, "1-2 Orders of magnitude less drawcalls"

John of DSOGaming writes: "During this year’s SIGGRAPH, Ulrich Haar and Sebastian Aaltonen talked about the latest iteration of the AnvilNext Engine that was powering Assassin’s Creed: Unity. According to the devs, AnvilNext was able to push 10X more objects/instances than previous Assassin’s Creed games."

AC games starting with 3rd have been CPU hogs, even latest i7 struggled to maintain stable frames at certain times. They need to fix this.

well as long as you're able to maintain a 30 or 60 frame rate it's fine, as they're acceptable frame rates.

every ac game since ac3 have been a technical mess on PC or at least demanded more resources than they should have. Hopefully they gonna polish this game and wont rush it.
