People have been begging for it. We're talking like the old days, back in the days of The Ocarina of Time. A follow-up in The Legend of Zelda series that was worthy of that N64 title, and not just some passerby game that tried to inject some originality into the formula, like the kiddie-transformed Link in The Wind Waker or the Expansion Pak-fueled Majora's Mask. No, we're talking about the need for a full-on Zelda adventure that makes us remember, no, cherish the brand the way we did back on the NES and on the SNES, and with Ocarina. And we waited and waited and waited some more upon the announced Twilight Princess for GameCube/Wii, and it's finally looking like it will surface this fall.
TheGamer Writes "In my experience, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess’ once-warm reception has chilled somewhat over the years. Praised at launch as a beautiful return to form after the “childish” art style of its direct predecessor, the world eagerly embraced a game that more closely followed Ocarina of Time’s famous structure and plot cues. Perhaps most alluringly of all, the grandeur and sheer scope of this reimagined Hyrule Field wowed millions of us."
The best Legend of Zelda games experiment and tackle new grounds for the industry. These are the essential titles in the series you need to play.
I am a huge Zelda fan and love them all, but for me Ocarina Of Time is the greatest and my second all time favourite game after Final Fantasy VII.
Oh gee can't imagine what Number 1 is
....
A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker etc is better than Breath of the Wild.
Majora's Mask still holds as my favorite to this day, despite being the black sheep of the series.
I love them all, but Wind Walker, Link to the Past and Minish Cap are my favorites
Recent rumors suggest The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages games are coming to Switch, but that doesn't really add up.
I remember enjoying Twilight Princess overall, though the dark/light world mechanic felt too similar to Metroid Prime 2.
I never played Skyward Sword though. Did that retain the cool as fuck sheathing animation link does in Twilight Princess?
The whole time I played the remake of "Link's Awakening" on my Switch, I kept hoping they would do the oracle games in a similar style.
I wonder when the "why any other Zelda but Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword would make more sense" article will pop up.
Gotta release um all Zeldamon'
Really funny seeing this and "What’s with the lack of game content, Nintendo?" right next to each other.
OK......no and hard pass but ok. Look Zelda TP is a very good entry but imo its had its time and 3 versions on (Gamecube, Wii, Wii U) I say let it rest. Especially since it will inevitably be just a slightly touched up port of the HD Wii U game. Id actually prefer a Wind Wake HD port over TP. That said Oracle of Seasons/Ages done in the new Link's Adventure style is vastly more appealing to me, and I hope that's what they do.
This is why I'm going to purchase the Wii. Plus some other interesting games. But this Right here and Smash Brothers is what convince me.
Having to use a remote just dumbs down the detail on aiming and stuff. Not my type sorry. I don't think any game they came out with would make me get it.
Ocarina of time was my favorie game growin up with the N64. Your right Dmac i havnt fount a game with a fantastic story line like it.. I can only hope this time around they can match the with just as good of a storyline, even somewhat, anything close would make me happy.
This could be the one of the greatest games since Ocarina of time. Wow what a great storyline that game had, can't wait for this one though.
Man!!! Look... There’s something wrong with every system we all no that like for one Xbox controller is to bulky, second PS can't come up with there own idea's OH' Yeah! They also have a George Foreman Grill as a there console system, third Nintendo has an updated infer red pen as the controller well!! I mean remote controller.
So waving your hand side by side is a problem you must have no arms/ or you are over weight/ or maybe you just think you'll look so dumb swinging' your arms around with the windows or the curtains open. “Nope you won't be” you'll look normal because 93% of people out of a 100% of people actually talk to there selves, so your no different from us or might I say Wii. Listen Xbox you move your hands, PS you move your hands, so Wii move our hands, any way that’s what makes us Unique, Wii all our Different..... LOL)
