I miss the old nuke explosion sound when you find a new location and also the money ching when you earn xp.

itsjustexuma3599d ago

Did all the past Fallout games have those features?

nX3599d ago

Does it matter? The last ones had it and it sounded cool.

Grap3599d ago

Fallout never was TPS or FPS.
OT:
looks the same, I loved FO3 and NV bit i dunno i wanted something revolution.

BlackWolf123599d ago

How can anything be revolutionary in the TES or Fallout series?

They are both franchises based in particular worlds, worlds that have very unique settings. ANY game in those franchises are going to look and feel VERY familiar.

Fallout 4 is doing some VERY revolutionary stuff in terms of gameplay, like the base building, but people think the game isn't worth the purchase because it 'looks' the same. That's so stupid.

TacticAce3599d ago

Looks like Fallout 3 next gen rather than fallout 4... And the blood looks like ketchup...

zidane13413599d ago

who gives a shit, it looks fun as hell. the combats actually fun now, and being able to customize your gun, power armor, settlement, and even dog are all things that I'm looking forward to. would much rather play this then Fallout 3, which was fun at the time.

Trekster_Gamer3599d ago

Tatic needs glasses. Game looks great and fun!

I think what we see now is what we will get as well.

Professor_K3599d ago

Nv had a burning wind sound, i guess it changes per Fallout

Persistantthug3599d ago

So how sure are we that the PS3 and XBOX 360 couldn't handle this?

NinjaNick3599d ago

Because the developers said so?

Am i the only one who thinks the crosshair is a little bit too big?

TheROsingleB3599d ago (Edited 3599d ago )

Cool, couple of dudes shoulders for most of it and blown out lighting for the rest :\
Nothing really new here besides some interactivity with Dogmeat and a peek at the skill tree.

AuctionMYsoul3598d ago

My guess is recording was prohibited. Hence hiding the cam behind others shoulders. It's definitely better than nothing

JoeMcCallister3599d ago

lalalala I can't see this, I don't want to. This is one of those games that has enough out already for me to know I want it, and that I want to discover the game, locations, and features on my own.

That being said I didn't find the light on the PipBoy in Fallout 3 until like 30 hours in.

DevilishSix3599d ago (Edited 3599d ago )

I am right there with you bro, I am on Fallout 4 media blackout until launch. I will read some comments but I will ignore footage and actual articles. I want to discover it on my own.

Spikeantestor3599d ago

Same for me. I think if they announced this game a year+ ago it would have been harder to keep myself from enjoying the drip feed of info. The quick turn around from reveal to release has made it work out though.

I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast71d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos71d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

TheColbertinator71d ago

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar173d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

anast172d ago

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082172d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
